I called Ace for a lockout and they were there in 25 minutes! Unfortunately, I had a mix up with another lock service that farmed out my info so I had another tech arrive just before who had already started on the job. This tech tried to charge me over TWICE the cost that Ace quote me. Due to Ace's great pricing, I was able to negotiate a better deal with the other locksmith, but still wish I had just used Ace exclusively. Beware that some locksmith "businesses" on Google are just call centers that farm out your info. When you call Ace, you actually talk and deal with the business directly.

Alex, the technician, arrived quickly and handled the emergency lockout without damaging the door. The lock was old and not very secure, so I decided to change the locks while he was there. Alex explained the options, installed a new deadbolt, rekeyed everything on the spot, and tested all the keys before leaving.
What I appreciated most was how calm and straightforward Alex was during the whole process. The pricing was clear, there was no pressure, and the work was done carefully and efficiently. It felt like dealing with a local, experienced residential locksmith who actually knows what he’s doing.

Very good job, no major complaints. Alex made a copy of the electronic key (fob) for my 2022 Subaru Outback. Price was 20% less than what the dealer wanted to charge me. He came to my house in the East Bay. Initially he had the wrong equipment, but he went back to his shop for the proper gear and returned within an hour. Polite, professional and intent on customer satisfaction. Also, I had tried 2 other locksmiths who said they could not help me.

I've used Alex's services a few different times now in the Noe Valley area, both for electronic lock installation and replacing a standard lock. He's always been incredibly prompt to arrive and fast to complete his work, and I've been happy with the results. I called another locksmith in town from a larger shop and found out that their minimum charge just for showing up was greater than what Alex charged me.

Alex is super efficient and communicates proactively. We contact via yelp and schedule an appointment for the second day (and it's Sunday!). Alex called before he came and let me know the ETA. Our door lock which was stuck and can't auto lock well. Alex fixed it in 10 minutes and the lock is ultra smooth now!
